2021 will be remembered for the world rediscovering the importance of global logistics. With 104 companies and 14 different business units linked to Shipping and Logistics, Fratelli Cosulich Group plays a key role in a crucial sector for the entire functioning of the modern world and our main focus is growing and reinforcing our market position.

At the end of a fruitful negotiation, Express Global Slovenia (Express d.o.o, part of Express Global Group belonging to Fratelli Cosulich Group) is glad to announce that it has finalized the acquisition of T.P.G. Logistika d.o.o. on 22nd December 2021. T.P.G. Logistika, based in Koper but with also an office in Austria, offers logistic solutions (sea freight, air freight and overland transport) and warehousing services.

T.P.G. Logistika has been fast growing since its foundation and it is recognised as one of the major companies in Eastern Europe with a team of 60 employees. Last year, it managed over 58.000 TEU, sustaining the freight transport in the Balkans and Central Eastern Europe’ major economic areas. It also offers intermodal transport solutions through the Adriatic’s ports and thus optimises time of delivery and the transport costs to South and Central Europe.

Adriano Fucak, Express Global Slovenia - Managing Director: “We are proud to announce the purchase of a large regional forwarder TPG log from Koper. After several months of discussions, we not only agreed on the purchase details, but more importantly on future steps both companies Express and TPG should take and their role in the future. With now a total of 5 countries and additional 3 in process of opening, we will be for sure an important regional player in the logistics industry.

The process of integration is already in place, and we are working to integrate culture and business properly for further growth to become a major player and develop our forwarding business within the group at the highest possible level, with the best service for end users. “

Tilen Pahor, T.P.G. Logistika - CEO and Managing Director: “I’m very happy and excited about this new journey which is in front of us. I personally see a very bright and successful future for the new reality we are going to establish out of two companies which are already well present in the market, each one with their own advantages, which will now be part of one new bigger entity. Already in the initial talks with the People from the Express side I immediately felt trust and common understanding about the business itself and about the future plans of growth. Growth and stability with a clear and concrete vision of the future, that’s why I made this choice. To be part of a bigger group of companies with all the knowledge and experience this brings together with the People working there. I really believe this will make us a well known player in Europe with a great team of persons working for one goal and offering stability to all our employees. I am looking forward to be part of the Family together with all the team from TPG Logistics.”

With this acquisition, Express Global Group is now composed of 22 companies with a worldwide coverage, and it is ready for a successful 2022. Express Global is now becoming a leading player in the logistics sector and thanks to the synergies with other business units of the Group is able to offer a high-quality 360° service.
