Express Global Italy completed a special shipment from Nigeria to Italy

The team of Express Global Italy completed a special shipment from Nigeria to Italy.

The operation consisted of transporting a fire-fighting vehicle to Italy for repair. The vehicle has been handled with EXW terms, very unusual considering the difficulties involved.

After transportation with an armed security escort to the port of Onne, secondary port in Nigeria, and following the lashing operations on a flat track container, the vehicle was loaded on SS Maersk Dakar Voyage 316N, salied on April 17, 2023.

In just over a month, the shipment successfully reached the port of Genoa, on May 19. Following the unloading operations and the customs formalities, the vehicle was picked up by the Express customer, who was very satisfied with the service received, both for the speed of the operation and for the professionality of the Express operations and sales team. Another challenge won by Express Global, kicking off the summer season with a success.
