Releasing our 2024 Annual Report

Fratelli Cosulich Group is pleased to announce the publication of its Annual Report 2024, now available online.

In a global environment marked by growing selectivity and complexity, the Group has continued to pursue a long-term vision based on solid industrial fundamentals, diversification, and responsible investment. 2024 was not a year for chasing extraordinary numbers, but one of thoughtful consolidation: strengthening our governance, expanding our international footprint, and laying the groundwork for future growth.  At the heart of the 2024 Report is the concept of “Bridging to Solutions”, a guiding principle that informed every key decision of the year. This phrase reflects our belief in building strong, responsible connections across functions, companies, technologies and people — to transform complexity into efficiency, and uncertainty into opportunities. “We didn’t chase records in 2024 — we focused on building bridges: between companies, competencies and generations. Our identity as a diversified and independent family-owned group remains central to everything we do.” Augusto Cosulich, Chairman & CEO.

The Group closed the year with an EBITDA of €59.7 million, a net profit of €20.6 million, and revenues exceeding €2.1 billion. The BB public rating with stable outlook was confirmed again this year, and a new evaluation process will be launched in the coming months. “We are seeing the rewards of years of strategic planning. Every financial figure this year has meaning because it is the result of deliberate, forward-looking choices. And there’s more to come.” Stefano Abate, Chief Financial Officer.

This year's Annual Report also marks an important milestone on our sustainability journey: we have published a full Sustainability Statement, for the first time developed in accordance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). The results reflect our commitment to measurable progress: 64% of our bunker fleet will be ready to operate with methanol or LNG - Renewable energy use increased by 409%, now representing 11.2% of our total energy consumption - Training hours per employee rose by 43.5%, as we continued investing in people and leadership - We reinforced our governance practices in ethics, transparency, and data management.

The Annual Report 2024 also includes a series of strategic insights that explore key areas of transformation across the Group. From the investment in four new methanol-ready bunker barges — a tangible step towards maritime energy transition — to creation of the Cosulich Logistics network and the integration of TRASGO, each insight offers a deeper look into how we turn strategy into action. Other sections address our talent development programs and our response to new regulatory frameworks like the EU ETS.
