Alcohol content: 14,5%

Winemaking and Aging: Fermentation and maceration take place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for approximately 10-12 days at 28-30°C. During the initial stages, the cap is manually punched down, followed by daily pump-overs. Malolactic fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks, after which the wine is aged in large Slavonian oak barrels. Bottling is carried out during the warm months of the second year following the harvest, with additional aging in the bottle before release.

Interesting fact: The organoleptic properties of this Langhe Nebbiolo are distinctly classic, thanks to the blend of grapes from various vineyards and the use of large oak barrels for aging. This elegant wine has an exceptional ability to age gracefully in the bottle for many years.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance: Deep garnet red with typical orange reflections.
Nose: Delicate and pleasant, featuring prominent notes of raspberry, tobacco, dried roses, and cloves. As it ages, secondary aromas like dried roses, cherries in spirits, and licorice emerge.
Palate: Full-bodied and enjoyable, with fine yet persistent tannins. Its excellent acidity complements the robust alcohol content harmoniously.

Food Pairing: Ideal with flavorful and hearty dishes such as slow-cooked wild boar, braised meats, and stews. It also pairs beautifully with cheeses, from soft varieties like Robiola to mild blue cheeses.

Serving Tips: Decant before serving and enjoy at 18-20°C.
