Gente di Mare is pleased to officially announce its partnership with MaritimeMT.

Gente di Mare (GDM), thanks to its deep expertise in maritime training and consultancy, will give to MaritimeMT the opportunity to further expand its service offering in Italy. This collaboration aims to create synergies, bringing opportunities for both to grow and evolve.

Together, the two Companies intend to offer a comprehensive and world-class maritime education, supporting both maritime professionals and seafarers. GDM, on its side, will benefit from the Malta Flag Registry and Maltese certifications, which currently occupy a prominent position in the maritime world.

The partnership will expand the already wide range of STCW courses, specialised and tailor-made courses, with a focus on recreational boating certifications, supporting students in their professional development.

Gente di Mare and MaritimeMT are committed to providing their participants with the necessary skills to excel, achieving successful results in the maritime industry and further raising the bar in maritime training and services on a global level.

Elena Di Tizio, Managing Director of Gente di Mare, about this partnership says that “Bringing the Maltese certification to Italy will create an opportunity for maritime professionals including seafarers and crew to further their studies and climb up the ranks”.

Gente di Mare (GDM) is an advance training company based in Livorno (Italy) part of the larger Fratelli Cosulich Group. It offers maritime preparation and training courses, to accelerate the path of growth and offer the necessary assistance to anyone wishing to become an expert and professional in the industry.

“Our standard processes and quality management system has helped us kick start operations in different locations”, says Capt Edwin Vella, Principal at MaritimeMT, followed by Pauline Micallef, MaritimeMT CEO, who adds ““MaritimeMT chooses to partner with organisations on the same wavelength that share a common strategy, that of providing an excellence in seafarers education”.

MaritimeMT is a Malta-based company that offers high quality training courses to prepare students, maritime professionals or seafarers. It has always strived to offer the highest level of education, also developed through its three academies: Small Craft Academy, Merchant Navy Academy and the Superyacht Academy. In recent years it has expanded its operations to Athens, and plans to expand further into neighbouring ports.
