Fratelli Cosulich USA invited to attend the GEI Award Event to award the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Vice President of the Council of Ministers

On 22 February 2023, the GEI Award Event was held to present an award to Minister Antonio Tajani.  The breakfast meeting was held at 7.30 a.m. at the NYSE, a place symbol of global growth and development.

As a representative of Fratelli Cosulich USA, Chicca Franchini received an invitation from Unicredit to attend the event.

Antonio Tajani was appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation under the new Italian government led by Hon. Giorgia Meloni on 22 October 2022.  At the event, Tajani received the characteristic award of a bronze sculpture of Arnaldo Pomodoro, representing the close transatlantic relations between Italy and the US, for his long service in the European Parliament and commitment to a united Europe, as well as in support of Ukrainian freedom. 

Fratelli Cosulich USA's invitation confirmed the important role our Group plays in the relationship between Italy and the USA, as well as being one of the most relevant in the business industry. It was an honour and a pleasure to be invited to the award ceremony of an important figure such as Minister Tajani, in an occasion of sharing and cooperation between the two Countries.

The event was organised with the support of the Italian Embassy in Washington, the Honorary President, the Consulate of Italy in New York, and Consul General Fabrizio di Michele. At the end of the meeting, Minister Tajani gave a short speech and answered some questions.
