Our President Augusto Cosulich together with our CEO and Board Member Tomaso Moreno took part in the Conference “Nautica italiana tra metallurgia e scienza”, held at the Salone Nautico Internazionale 2023.

This year, the Salone Nautico celebrated its 63rd edition, making its first appearance in the under-construction “archistar” Renzo Piano’s Waterfront from 21 to 26 September in Genoa.  The week was based on a multi-specialist format, with new services, renewed and developed for the five market segments representing the event and taking part in it: Yachts and Superyacths, Sailing world (outboard world), Boating discovery, Tech trade (components and accessories), and Living the Sea (services for pleasure boating and related activities).

The Conference, organized by Mill’s The Interlocutor company, focused on the strong relationship between two sectors in which our Group is involved, the steel and maritime industries, talking about the skills and training necessary to operate in these sectors.

The panel was also attended by other important names, including institutions and top managers from the two industries and institutions, such as Marco  Ghiglione (CEO T. Mariotti), Roberto Re (CEO Metinvest Europa), Massimo Debenedetti (VP Research & Innovation Fincantieri), Aldo Casari (CEO CMF Matter of Forging), Paolo Fasce (Headmaster Istituto Nautico S. Giorgio Genoa), Francesco Fazari (Headmaster Istituto Nautico Galvani Trieste), Roberto Cimolai (CEO Cimolai Technologies).

This event provided an ideal opportunity for sharing ideas about the recent industry transformations and the new collaborations we’ve established with various institutions. It contributed to underscore the pervasive and significant role of technology in both the steel and maritime sectors.
