Giulia Cosulich, Corporate ESG Director of the Fratelli Cosulich Group, took part in the 10th edition of the Forum Conftrasporto, a national event organized by Confcommercio dedicated to the key challenges of the transport and logistics sectors.
This year’s Forum, brought together business leaders, policymakers, and experts to discuss how sustainability can be pursued in a balanced and economically viable way. During her panel, Giulia Cosulich shared insights drawn from her dual professional background — over 12 years as an ESG consultant before joining the family Group in 2017.
Speaking on the link between environmental goals and financial stability, she highlighted a core value that has long guided the Group’s strategy: “One of the most important factors in making sustainability truly sustainable is financial solidity and a long-term vision. At Fratelli Cosulich, we do not distribute profits — we reinvest them in the growth of the company, in new technologies and innovative projects. It’s a choice that reflects our entrepreneurial spirit.”
She also addressed the current state of the EU taxonomy, stressing the need for a more pragmatic and applicable framework:
“When reviewing the text with our technical teams, we realized that many requirements were simply unfeasible. It was a missed opportunity. But I am confident that, over time, the taxonomy will be revised and improved. Those who invest early and can demonstrate it on their balance sheets will gain a competitive advantage.”
By participating in this national forum alongside leading voices from the Italian and European transport industry, Giulia Cosulich reaffirmed the Group’s commitment to combining growth, innovation, and responsibility — continuing to build a sustainable future grounded in long-term investment and entrepreneurial courage
