Teamwork on a global stage: Cosulich Logistics at the GLA Conference

Freight Forwarding networks are vital tools in global reach and partnerships to support the activities of our existing clients and to support our fellow network members with our knowledge and experience to act on their requirements in our regions.

The freight forwarding brands under the Cosulich Logistics umbrella are members of several networks but it is not enough to simply be another name on a website, attendance to the network conferences is very important to form genuine connections and relationships with our fellow members. Only then can we rest easy that the trust and faith that our clients put in us can be shared.  

As members of the global freight forwarding network GLA representatives from Express Global Italy (Mateo Biavati, Genoa), UK (Anthony Clements & Ross Wishart, Felixstowe), USA (Luca De Pieri, New York) and TPG EXPRESS (Dario Glavas, Rijeka) attended the network’s 13th global conference in Bangkok along with over 1400 other delegates. Our great team had over 200 1-2-1 meetings with fellow members across the 3 day event along with making many other connections via our booth, specifically designed to highlight the strength and reach of the Cosulich Logistics companies. Along with the 3 days of meetings there was also a Cocktail Party, Gala Dinner Party and various sports tournaments all designed to encourage collaboration, communication and networking.

The Cosulich Logistics football team toiled in the Thailand humidity and were eventually overcome by younger, fitter & thinner competitors but still gave a great account of themselves, kudos to Luca “Baggio” De Pieri for his 2 goals and Dario “Modric” Glavas for his skill.

A fun and productive time was had by the entire team, many great connections were made with a number of new business opportunities for our colleagues to take home and work on.
