The CLIA Cruise Week Europe 2024 has just concluded, marking it as a successful meeting dedicated to the cruise industry.  Hosted in Genoa in a world premiere, the Cruise Line International Association (CLIA) dedicated an entire week to activities including several panels, appointments, team-building activities and opportunities.

Our Group is proud to have been involved both as a sponsor and as an exhibitor of the event, creating unique opportunities for business networking.

At our booth, we showcased 6 of our 14 business units that daily work with the Cruise industry, including: Marine Energy, Catering & Provisioning, Manning & Training, Warehousing & Depot, Business & Leisure Travel, and Yachting.

Representing Marine Energy were colleagues Paola Celentani, Chicca Franchini, Giulia Lagomarsino; for Catering, Daniela Fadda and Federica Fiori; for Manning, Renato Galli and for the Training part Elena Di Tizio; for Warehousing, Alessandro Gasparotti, for Travel our Vice-Chairman Matteo Cosulich, and for Yachting, our colleagues Sabrine Rhouat and Vincent Nevo.

Additionally, some colleagues from Link Industries also attended the fair, including Marta Cosulich and Giulia Cosulich, Paolo Siri, and Silvia Sassola.

Giulia Cosulich, our ESG Corporate Director, had the pleasure of being interviewed during the event on March 12, then attending a “Night Event” at the Palazzo della Borsa with other Group colleagues the following evening.

A special mention goes to Timothy Cosulich, who not only attended the event as the CEO of Marine Energy, but also as a speaker in the panel discussion on “The Cruise Investment Plan in Europe”.

On March 14, Elena Di Tizio, General Manager of GDM (Gente Di Mare), representing our Training activities, also had the pleasure of participating in another panel discussion on “Skills for the Future” during the event.

The CLIA Cruise Week provided a unique opportunity for networking and discussing current topics in a important maritime and touristic port like Genoa, which for the occasion transformed into the hub of the cruise industry, with thousands of attendees from all over the world.
