Our dual fuel methanol bunker tanker Maya Cosulich has arrived in Ceuta, chartered on site by leading Spanish bunkering company Vilma Oil Med, part of TFG Marine, where she will play a key role in strengthening the port’s bunkering operations and supporting the region’s transition towards cleaner marine fuels.

The arrival ceremony, held at the Port of Ceuta, on Tuesday February 17th, brought together local authorities, port representatives and members of our Marine Energy team alongside partners from Vilma Oil Med and TFG Marine,, marking this important milestone for both the port and our marine energy operations in Spain.

The introduction of Maya Cosulich to the Ceuta bunkering landscape represents a step forward in operational capabilities for the region, giving customers access to versatile and future-ready fuel solutions.

As a vessel designed to handle methanol and biofuels up to B100, in addition to conventional marine fuels, Maya Cosulich complements the port and Vilma Oil Med’s joint efforts to improve service offerings while aligning with broader decarbonisation goals.

Vilma Oil Med’s established presence in the Spanish market, combined with TFG Marine’s global trading expertise and operational network, strengthens the commercial and logistical framework underpinning this deployment.

This project underlines the strategic significance of collaboration across the marine fuels value chain. By bringing together vessel capability, local infrastructure and international trading expertise, the partnership enhances Ceuta’s position as a competitive and progressively sustainable bunkering hub in the Mediterranean.

We look forward to Maya Cosulich’s contribution to bunkering services in Ceuta and to continuing our work alongside port partners in advancing responsible and sustainable marine energy solutions across the region.
