Gianmichele Campanella elected to the IBIA Board 2026

We are proud to share that Gianmichele Campanella has been elected to the Board of the IBIA (International Bunker Industry Association) as part of the 2026 Board Elections.

The announcement was made during the IBIA Annual Dinner 2026, one of the most important gatherings for the global bunker and marine energy community, bringing together industry leaders, stakeholders and representatives from across the sector. Gianmichele’s election represents a significant achievement and a source of pride for the Cosulich Group, confirming our active and long-standing involvement within the international bunker industry. 

With over twenty years of hands-on experience in marine energy and bunker trading, his contribution to the Board will bring a strong operational and market-driven perspective, closely connected to the realities faced by the industry on a daily basis. IBIA plays a key role in representing the interests of the global bunker sector, fostering dialogue across the industry and supporting engagement with regulatory bodies at international level. Being elected to its Board is both an honour and a responsibility, reflecting trust, credibility and recognised expertise.

Gianmichele’s appointment also builds on Fratelli Cosulich’s historical dedication to IBIA, which over the years has seen several Group representatives actively contribute to the Association’s governance and development.
