Fratelli Cosulich among the protagonists of the event “The best 100 companies in the Trieste district”

Our Group took part in the event “Le 100 migliori imprese del distretto di Trieste”, held on Thursday 5 March at the Auditorium Beato Don Francesco Bonifacio, in Trieste.

The initiative gathered the most dynamic companies operating in the local economic ecosystem, reflecting on the role of the local business community in a rapidly evolving global economic landscape.

Representing the Group was Marta Cosulich, CEO and Board Member, who joined the discussion both as a participant and as a speaker during the afternoon session.Her contribution focused on the transformations currently reshaping global maritime routes and supply chains, from geopolitical tensions affecting key passages such as the Suez Canal to the long term implications of emerging corridors such as the Arctic route. Within this changing scenario, Trieste continues to play a strategic role thanks to its historical maritime vocation and its strong rail connections with Central and Eastern Europe.

During the discussion, Marta Cosulich also shared the Group’s perspective on some of the key themes currently affecting the shipping and logistics industry, including long standing international partnerships, the role of China in global trade and the ongoing transition towards alternative marine fuels.

The event represented a valuable opportunity for dialogue among some of the most active companies of Trieste, reaffirming the strong connection between the Group and the city where its history began and where it continues to play an active role in the local business community.
