ECOS directly involved in the first SSLNG bunkering operation

A new chapter for the Italian LNG industry has just begun, and one of our Group companies played a key role in it.

The team of ECOS was directly involved in the first SSLNG bunkering operation ever carried out at an FSRU terminal in Italy—at the OLT Offshore LNG Toscana platform, off the coast of Livorno.

The successful completion of this operation marks a major milestone: it’s the first time that small-scale LNG bunkering has been offered via a floating regasification terminal in our country, opening new opportunities for cleaner, more flexible fuel solutions in the Mediterranean.
