On October 9th, our colleagues of the Marine Energy unit reached another important milestone in their shipbuilding program with the steel cutting ceremony of Carlotta Cosulich, held at Taizhou Maple Leaf Shipyard, China.

Designed to be methanol-ready, Carlotta Cosulich integrates state-of-the-art features for next-generation fuel handling and safe bunkering operations.  With MarineLINE-coated cargo tanks and advanced transfer systems, the vessel will ensure both operational flexibility and enhanced corrosion resistance.

As the third vessel in a series of four sister ships, this marks the official start of construction: when a vessel moves from blueprint to reality.

This ceremony reflects our ongoing investment in innovation, sustainability, and fleet readiness — reaffirming Fratelli Cosulich Marine Energy’s role as a forward-looking partner in the global bunkering industry. Click here and take a look at the full gallery of this important day!
