A proud moment for Navimeteo at the Rolex Swan Cup 2026

The Navimeteo team was invited by Garmin to provide the weather briefing and marine weather forecasts for the race area during the Rolex Swan Cup 2026, taking place in Porto Cervo from September 14 to 19.

Organised by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in collaboration with Nautor Swan, the 23rd edition celebrates the shipyard’s 60th anniversary with a record fleet of 170 yachts, bringing together generations of Swan owners and crews for one of the most prestigious events on the international sailing calendar.

During the briefing, our colleague Daniele Spano, Navimeteo forecaster, presented the expected weather evolution across the area, giving participants a clear operational overview of the meteorological and sea conditions along the race course.

For the Navimeteo team, being invited to contribute to such an important event was a moment of great satisfaction and an opportunity to put its forecasting expertise at the service of an international sailing community, where understanding weather conditions is an essential part of preparation and decision-making.
