Diletta Tunesi brings a rich international background to her role as General Manager of Catalano Shipping Services Indonesia.
Her journey began with an exchange year in the USA, which laid the foundation for her multicultural outlook. Upon returning to Italy, she graduated in translation and interpretation at IULM University, specializing in English and Spanish. She started her career in sales and marketing, initially at NH Hotels in Milan, gaining experience in customer relationship management and strategic planning.
Diletta then transitioned into the marine fuel industry as bunker trader for ships for an international company based in Montecarlo - Monaco, navigating the complexities of fuel procurement and logistics.
In her 30s, Diletta took a sabbatical year, sailing across the Pacific Ocean, an experience that enriched her professionally and personally.
Once returned to Italy she further honed her expertise as a Senior Yacht Fuel Trader at FemoBunker Srl, where she managed global fuel markets and maintained strong client relationships.
Currently, Diletta has embraced a new challenge by relocating to Bali, Indonesia, where she is responsible for establishing and managing the new office, developing strategic growth plans, and building relationships with local and international clients and partners, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and representing the company at industry events.
Diletta’s international background and extensive experience in the trading and marine industries have equipped her with the versatility to navigate diverse cultural and professional landscapes. Her ability to adapt and lead in new environments makes her a key asset to Catalano Shipping Services as they expand their footprint in Asia.
