Cristiana serves as Legal Counsel at Fratelli Cosulich Group, bringing extensive expertise in international maritime, insurance, and transport law.
She graduated in Law from the University of Cagliari and she began her legal career in Genoa, gaining solid experience in both domestic and international litigation within leading maritime law firms. She was admitted to the bar in 2009. As a lawyer, she represented a diverse portfolio of clients, including carriers, underwriters, brokers, and shipowners, handling complex disputes across multiple jurisdictions.
Her global perspective was significantly enhanced by a professional exchange at Stephenson Harwood LLP in London, where she deepened her understanding of the UK legal system and international shipping practices. Cristiana subsequently expanded her expertise in Genoa, managing cross-border litigation, cargo claims, and ship arrests for a global clientele.
Prior to joining Fratelli Cosulich Group, she served as Senior Claims Executive at Cambiaso Risso Group, gaining specialized, hands-on experience in maritime insurance claims.
In her current role, she provides legal support to the Group with a pragmatic approach and a dedicated focus on maritime and insurance matters.
