Andrea Scarpa

Andrea Scarpa has a long working experience as a professional and entrepreneur in the logistics and freight forwarding business that dated back to more than 40 years. 
His work experience has been developed exclusively in the context of the family company, named, Archimede Gruden S.r.l. with Headquarter at Venice, Italy. 
Archimede Gruden is a historic forwarding company founded in Venice in 1930. The company has always been mainly concerned with maritime transport, initially operating directly on the Port of Venice, and later expanding its business to other Italian, European and world ports such as in New York and Hong Kong where the company operates since 2003.
Mr. Scarpa is the current President of Archimede Gruden S.r.l., as well as the President of Luvitrans International S.r.l., a shipping and transport company own by the larger Group. 
He is also the President of Assosped Venezia (Association of Freight Forwarding Company of the Province of Venice) and the former Vice-President of the Fedespedi of Milan (National Association of Italian Freight Forwarding Company).
He holds a Diploma in Commerce from the Technical Institute "Paolo Sarpi" in Venice, Italy. In addition, he is also qualified as a Chief of Staff and Recommended Maritime Agent by the Venice Chamber of Commerce.
In 2020, he joined the Fratelli Cosulich Group.
