Our Tramp Agency supporting cable laying operations in Genoa

Our colleagues from the Tramp Agency team have been assisting the M/V Teliri, a cable-laying vessel currently berthed in Genoa as part of the wider Unitirreno project.

Built in 1996 and operated by Elettra TLC (Orange Marine Group), the M/V Teliri is a 111.5 meters long unit, equipped with three Wartsila engines, and capable of carrying up to 2,400 tons of cables.  With 68 people on board, the vessel is now preparing to lay and bury a new fiber optic data transmission cable, strengthening digital connectivity across the region.

Our Tramp Agency team has taken care of all agency services, supporting the vessel and her crew during their stay in Genoa. 

This operation also carries a special meaning for us: the vessel’s owner has been a long-standing client of our Catering division, making this project another example of the long-term collaborations that define our Group and the positive results they continue to bring.
