Our Marine Energy team is pleased to announce the candidacy of Gianmichele Campanella for the IBIA Board Elections 2026, currently underway as part of the International Bunker Industry Association’s governance process.

IBIA plays a central role in representing the global bunker and marine energy sector, acting as a key interface between market operators and institutions. The Board elections are therefore an important moment for the Association and for the wider maritime energy community.

With more than 20 years of hands-on experience in marine energy and bunker trading, Gianmichele brings a strong operational and market-driven perspective, shaped by daily engagement with market dynamics, regulatory complexity and the evolving challenges of the energy transition. His candidacy reflects a dedication to pragmatic representation, aimed at supporting balanced, workable regulation and constructive dialogue within the industry.

This nomination also aligns with our Group’s long-standing involvement in IBIA, which over the years has seen several representatives actively contribute to the Association’s leadership and activities, reinforcing the Group’s commitment to the development and credibility of the bunker industry at international level.
