IBIA Mediterranean Energy and Shipping Conference 2023 took place in Genoa

Yesterday, 20th of April 2023, the IBIA Mediterranean Energy and Shipping Conference took place in Genoa.

For Timothy Cosulich, our CEO and Chairman of IBIA, it is a source of pride to host the event in his city and precisely in the year in which IBIA celebrates its 30th anniversary.

This occasion represents the most important shipping event of 2023 for the city of Genoa which, connecting the Mediterranean to the whole world, became the meeting point for both the Italian and global maritime industry.

The discussion was also attended by our colleague Pietro Seghezza, as a panelist at the session Regional Dynamics: Regional Focus/Suppliers panel.

This occasion has been the perfect moment for sharing and discussing ideas, allowing all participants to confront various topics. First and foremost the need to facilitate the processes of decarbonisation and the digitalisation of the maritime sector, particularly in the bunker industry, with the long term of a more sustainable future.
