Express Global USA attended the ISRI Convention & Exposition 2023

The Express Global USA team took part in the ISRI Convention & Exposition 2023 in Nashville, Tennessee. The event was held from 17 to 20 April at the city’s Music City Centre, with the team of Express Global USA attending on the days of 18 and 19 April. The ISRI (Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries) is a United States-based and non-profit association, representing more than 1,300 private and public for-profit companies. The association supports the material recycling industry by organising seminars and training, industry news, statistics and various membership services.

Among the countries present were: Belgium, China, Italy, India, Netherlands, Malaysia, Poland, United Kingdom, United States, Saudi Arabia and UAE. Recycled materials included paper, plastics, electronic, ferrous and non ferrous, glass, textiles, tires and rubber.

From 2021 to 2022 Express Global USA recorded a 58% increase in TEUs exported from the USA to Italy, Antwerp, Rotterdam and Malaysia. Since its presence in this market has increased, the Group started to look into potential trade fairs or exhibitions to take part in, attending the ISRI.

The event was the perfect opportunity to build new relationships with other traders and buyers, and learn more about heavy machinery and tools used in the scrap metal industry. The last evening the team also had the honour of meeting Margie Erinle, CFO of the ISRI Association. Express Global USA had the occasion to present their services and the growing support they are offering the industry, increasing their visibility and pursuing all the new connections they have made.
