Express Global teams attended the 2023 C5C Conference

Various teams from the Express Global Group took part in the Connecting 5 Continents (C5C) Freight Forwarders network. Founded in 2007, this logistics network has over 300 members from more than 100 countries.

This year's edition, held in Berlin from 8 to 12 June, allowed attendees to participate in several 1-2-1 meetings that were very productive and positive.

Express Global UK, a member of C5C since 2020, attended the event represented by Ross Wishart, a familiar face within the group, having attended the C5C conferences for the past 9 years. The Express Global Croatia, Slovenia and Hungary teams, now known as TPG EXPRESS, took the opportunity to celebrate their fifth anniversary in the network, with Dario Glavas present to collect the award. Express Global Italy also celebrated its fifth anniversary, with Gabriele Floris and Sandro Fragomeni present at the conference.

The occasion was combined by a great time spent at the conference rooftop BBQ & party, and a day completely dedicated to leisure activities, with a tour of the city by coach and also vintage Trabant car. Despite the fact that the freight forwarding industry is faced with constant challenges, every participant left the conference with a sense of optimism and excitement to build on the relationships forged at this great event.
