Our colleagues at Depolink Koper have launched a major project to expand and further develop the Koper container terminal.
The project, structured in two evolutionary phases, will increase the terminal’s capacity by over 50%, reaching the capacity of more than 90,000 moves per year. An expansion that it’s just the beginning of a broader development plan, which will include further improvements such as larger M&R facilities, container repair and washing facilities, new bonded warehouse spaces, upgraded access roads, and additional office areas in the coming phases.
The first phase of the new terminal is expected to be built by Q4 2025, allowing operations to begin in the same period, even while construction work is still ongoing for the phase 2 (warehouse).
This marks just the first phase of a broader development plan for a terminal that will serve not only Depolink but also other companies within the Group, including TPG EXPRESS, further strengthening internal connections and synergies.
We will follow this exciting project step by step, sharing progress and key milestones along the way. Take a look at the terminal's transformations with this first video. Stay tuned for more updates!
