In the yachting industry, relationships are not a side element, they are a core driver of activity. This is exactly the context in which the April initiatives organised by Genoa Superyacht Hub took place, with FemoBunker among the sponsors.
Genoa Superyacht Hub, a brand created by Pesto Sea Group and Amico & Co, focuses on organising events and training opportunities for yacht crew, with the broader goal of strengthening Genoa’s position within the international yachting circuit.
At the start of the season, events like these play a key role. They bring together captains and crew, create networking opportunities, and reinforce Genoa’s presence as a destination where the yachting community can connect and stay, not just transit.
During April, two events were organised with different formats but a shared objective: strengthening relationship with the yachting community while showcasing the Ligurian territory.
On April 11, “Easy Rider” brought captains together for an outdoor e-bike experience, designed to encourage informal networking in a more relaxed setting, while exploring the surrounding area.
On April 16, the “Crew Spring Ball” at Villa Zerbino offered a more formal setting, gathering captains and crew to mark the beginning of the season and create further opportunities for interaction.
These initiatives highlight how targeted events can contribute to strengthening the local yacht presence. By attracting captains and crews and fostering connections, they help increase the appeal of Genoa as a homeport with positive effects across the range of services supporting the industry, including bunkering, where FemoBunker plays an active role as sponsor of these initiatives.
